I have a new project on my 'To DO' list.

Sugar cookies!

I came across Marian's website: Sweetopia. They make the cutest cookies, cupcakes, cakes, and much more! When I saw her website, I absolutly fell in LOVE with the sugar cookies with
the royal icing.


These owls are my favorite!


What a yummy treat in the fall!


All of these images were put on the cookies using a kopykake (Looks like a fun tool!)

She includes her recipe for the sugar cookies and for the royal icing.

One thing I did read on her website was that each layer of the different color icing has to sit for 24 hours. They need time to dry so that the next colored icing doesn't mix with the first.


I would love to have a cookie decorating party - but with having to consider the drying time, it would become a weekend slumber party!

I recently came across the blog, 'House on Hill Road' and got the pattern
for a 'cozy' for your coffee cup.

Signs

I recently started making these cute signs:

This paticular sign was made for a co-worker who decided to quite smoking. This was her first day as a non-smoker. She hung this in her office as motivation to keep strong.

Fun Treats

In the spirit of the Super Bowl, I wanted to share a very cute idea!! Bakerella is a great website/blog with wonderful treats for any occasion! Last year, they featured tiny Oreo, Chocolate football treats!

Christmas Bet

This past Christmas, Mike and I couldn't come to an agreement on how to decorate our Christmas tree. We decided to each have our own and let our friends and family vote for their favorite! Two Christmas trees in one room is normal.... right?!?

The day after Christmas, I opened the voting ballot and started counting....... Turns out that Mike added a 'few' extra votes for his tree!! Because he cheated, I decided that I automatically won.

To Do List:

For those who don't know, a year and a half ago, I got my real estate license. Well it's time to renew! This time, I have to complete 45 hours of studying/learning the information again before I can take a 100 question test. I had three options: First option was to join a class and show up Monday - Friday (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.). My second option was to take the class online. The third option was to buy a cd, then do the 45 hours where ever, when ever. I knew I didn't want to sit in a classroom! And because my internet will occasionally cut out on me, I decided to get the cd. Only problem is I need to make myself sit down and devote a few hours a day to complete the 45 hours!!! Since I'm typing this blog, I'm not getting much work done....

Maybe sitting in the classroom for 5 days wouldn't have been so bad - I would have completed it by now!
